It’s almost that time of year again; Small Business Saturday is right around the corner and hopefully you’re working on a plan for how to leverage this universal marketing opportunity. If you weren’t aware or haven’t thought about Small Business Saturday (SBS), I hope that my simple plan encourages you to start thinking about how your small business can contribute to and benefit from this one-day opportunity.
I’ve created 30 branding tips specifically for small businesses that I plan to share daily throughout the entire month of November. Posting daily will increase the likelihood of my brand being discovered by new people which means new relationships, conversations and clients. Weekly blog post
Blogging is tough for me and even though I enjoy writing, the process of creating, editing, and organizing a blog post takes time that sometimes I don’t feel I have. To talk myself out of not blogging, I remind myself of the importance of blogging -- it drives people to my brand (website, me, blog, and business). So, I will share blog post weekly that are solely focused on Small Business Saturday and intend to share tips that can be applied on and after SBS.
As a way to support Small Business Saturday, I will be extending a special offer throughout the month of November to small business owners. I consider this my way of contributing to the idea behind the day in addition to using it as a way to create visibility for my brand. Think about what your business could offer that would also meet the need of a small business owner and consider it a good time to test out an idea (at a special rate) before going big with it.
